This includes deceased estates as well as other sources. Examples of other sources for Unclaimed Money Queensland includes energy and telecommunications companies, insurance, TAFE and Universities.
A search is performed by keyword. This would normally be done by name. Results can include initials rather than first name, so you may need to try different searches. The result provides a reference number, name of owner, name of sender, postcode, date and amount. You can print individual results for your reference.
To lodge an Unclaimed Money Queensland claim you’ll need to complete an application. The form is available in PDF format to download online. It can be done by mail or delivering in person to any regional public trust office.
