Conduct a QBCC Licence Check of an individual. You can search the Queensland Building and Construction Commission database by licence number, first and surname, or company name.

This covers all building and trade licences in Queensland.

The results available are comprehensive. The basic search returns the licence number, business name, address, and MR category. You can then choose to view a licensee’s full history, related entities and BCIPA decisions.

The full history report covers any disciplinary record, nominees, financial category, directions to rectify, bans and exclusions, infringements and demerit points.

Related entities covers whether a person has been a nominee, director or secretary of a licensed company within the last 10 years.

You may also check if the licensee is mentioned in any decisions with the Building & Construction Industry Payments Agency. This can be either as a claimant or as a respondent.

With a large percentage of the population involved in the building and construction industries, a QBCC Licence Check is comprehensive.
