Experian is a credit reporting agency in Australia that is able to provide you with a copy of your free credit report. You can do this one of two ways, either by email or by standard mail. You’ll need to download and complete a PDF form and return it along with suitable identity documents. Certain requirements must be met for eligibility and access to the free report. Once submitted and accepted in full, it will take up to 10 working days for your Experian Credit Report to be provided.
An Experian Credit Report will provide you with a host of details about your credit history. This includes accounts, enquiries, defaults, file access and a Credit score. Your score is a rating from 0 to 1000 indicating your credit worthiness.
If you notice anything that needs to be corrected on your report, you can put it a request for it to be changed. This can be done through the organisation in question or by contacting Experian directly.
